Sanding

We use state-of-the-art Bona sanding equipment combined with traditional hand finishing techniques to achieve the highest quality results, in a process that is both efficient and virtually dust-free.

Finishing

We use the best-in-class lacquers to give a durable finish in a choice of gloss, satin, matt and ultra-matt. We also offer oil and hard wax finishes.

Staining

We offer a variety of colours to suit all tastes. We also offer pigmented primers and additives for lacquers which can be far more cost effective when you only want a slight tint, hue or temperature change. See ‘Special finishes’ below for more.

Engineered & solid plank installation

We supply and fit engineered and solid wood flooring in both domestic and commercial settings. We can also take care of any subfloor work that needs carrying out prior to installation.

Parquet installation

We supply and fit both engineered and solid wood floors in various parquet styles, with our most popular being Herringbone and Chevron. We offer additional customisation options such as borders and combining different wood types.

Laminate installation

We offer a selection of premium laminate floors at very competitive rates. The two styles are both highly realistic, one being wood plank, the other stone tiles. These are available in a wide range of colours.

Step/staircase sanding

We sand and finish steps and staircases to match floors, to prepare for painting, and to prepare for carpet runners.

Gap filling

We offer 4 types of gap filling; a cost effective resin + sawdust mixture, slivers for larger gaps between pine boards, DraughtEx installation, and our new flexible sealant method, which is far more durable over time.

Repairs

We mend structurally-sound boards with holes and cracks using the resin-sawdust composite mentioned above. We replace boards beyond repair using our reclamation centre, which allows us to select age-matched planks to fit perfectly even with century old original pine floors.

Fire hearth removal

Our process includes the removal of the concrete, repositioning of existing floorboards adjacent to the fire hearth, before installing age-matched boards to fill the gaps in a way that leaves no clue anything has been removed or changed.

Commercial finishes

We offer the application of commercial grade lacquers designed for offices, restaurants, sports halls, churches, retail stores and other high traffic areas, as well as anti-slip coatings for additional protection on floors and steps.

Special finishes

From whiteners and ‘amberisers’ to alter the temperature of your floor, anti-slip coatings for your staircase, or the latest ceramic lacquers for extreme durability even by commercial standards, and with a unique, almost luminous sheen.
